Rutger de Graaf is civil engineer and specialist in the field of floating urbanisation and sustainability. He graduated cum laude from the faculty of Civil Engineering at TU Delft. In 2009 he finished his PhD thesis (cum laude) on innovations in urban water management to reduce the vulnerability of cities. He holds a position as Professor of Adaptive Construction at the Rotterdam University of Applied Science. At Deltasync, he focuses on water management, strategy, innovation and sustainable urbanization combined with floating constructions.
